Excerpts from the Minutes of the 4th AGM of International Zheng He Society, 27 May 2006 held at Queenstown Golf Club,
Golden Crown Restaurant.

This AGM was held just six months after the previous 3 rd AGM held on 12 November 2005 . This was done to catch up on the delay in holding the 3 rd AGM in order to comply with the requirements of our Constitution

1. It was reported that the English version of The Zheng He Epic with our President, Tan Ta sen and Chia Lin Sien as Chief Editors has been published. Copies would be made available to member at a nominal price and the book will be put on sale in the bookstores.

2. The meeting was informed that the Chinese lawyer Mr Liu Gang, owner of the newly discovered China’s 1418 Map of the World would be invited to give a public talk in October 2006.

3. The meeting approved the change of our Society’s official address back to 28 Oei Tiong Ham Park, Singapore 267033

4. Newsletter: A cheaper version of our Society’s Newsletter would be produced once or twice a year. Professor Leo Surydinata kindly agreed to take responsibility for its production.

5. Elections for office bearers was held and the following were elected:
